Electrostatic Painting
Most customers who request electrostatic painting think that it is an extremely durable paint product. While there are paints formulated to assist with the electrostatic paint process, electrostatic painting is an application method that can apply many types of paint. Electrostatic painting is a method of paint application where a specialized spray gun positively charges the paint particles being sprayed to a metal structure that is grounded through the electrostatic spray rig. This process attracts the paint to the grounded metal in a manner that wraps the coating around the metal piece with transfer rates as high as 96%, which minimizes overspray. Electrostatic applications allow the user to provide factory-finished quality through field applications.
