What is PPG’s Break-Through? Break-Through is a Water-Bourne Acrylic that works in both interior and exterior environments. This product has a particular interest for Benise-Dowling. This product dries amazingly fast; 15-20 min tops. Because of this, the product has early block resistance so the doors just painted won’t stick to the frames. This attribute is highly important when your crew is painting 200+ doors and there are several trades coming in and out of the job site. The other feature we like is the hardness of the product once dry. The painters who still live in the era where alkyds are king will admit the adhesion and hardness are similar or better than most alkyds out there today.
